While the former has brought people from across the globe closer the latter has facilitated exchange of goods and services among nations. However, doing international business requires permit or import export code also known as IE Code services and we provide IE code services in India.
Incidentally, this code is issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and needs to be applied through Aayaat Niryaat Form 2A or ANF 2A. In most cases the IE code is allocated within 3 to 5 working days and sometimes it takes even less. The application is to be made at the Regional Authority of DGFT, the one closest to the registered office of the company.
